How do I start a focus session?
On the home screen tap Focus, pick how long and a sound, then tap Go Live. Bro goes live at his desk until the time is up or you end the stream. Come back to the app any time to check on him.
How does locking my apps work?
Bro can use Apple's Screen Time to lock the apps you pick while a session runs. You choose the apps in Apple's picker and approve Screen Time access once. When you finish the session in Bro, they open normally again.
My apps are still locked after a session.
Open Bro once. It unlocks them as soon as it sees the session is over. If that doesn't help, go to Settings › Screen Time and turn off Bro's access, which removes every lock it set.
What are followers and cash?
Bro is the one streaming, so every minute you stay focused brings him new followers, and you earn cash to spend in his closet. Cash only exists inside the app. You can't buy it and it isn't real money.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold your home screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, search for Bro and add the small Bro widget. It shows Bro, today's focus and when you're live.
Sharing to my Instagram story doesn't work.
Make sure the Instagram app is installed and you're signed in on this iPhone. Bro hands the image to Instagram directly, so it needs the app.
I'm not getting reminders.
Check Settings › Notifications › Bro and make sure notifications are allowed. To turn reminders on and pick a time in Bro, tap the chart button on the home screen, then the gear.
Will I lose my progress if I delete the app?
Yes. Bro has no account and keeps everything on your phone, so deleting the app deletes Bro's followers, cash, outfits and your history. We can't restore it.
Does Bro collect my data?
No. There are no accounts, ads or analytics. The only thing that leaves your phone is a purchase check through RevenueCat, with a random ID and no name or email. See the privacy policy for the details.
